Can we see some more photos? Was the wood originally black? What species veneer is the backrest? Can we see some more photos from different angles including the bottom?

It reminds me of a chair Wegner designed for Carl Hansen. It is not Wegner though.

Yep. As I remember this chair was the first sales dud that Hans Wegner designed for Carl Hansen. Interesting point of inspiration.

Yes, Hans Wegner CH30 and especially the CH33 ( ) look familiar, but there are some differences.

Is it cheap copy or maybe a kind of prototype?

It came with black legs and wooden armrests. I will post some more pictures on sunday...
