Hi all
I usually can do my own research work, but need extra help on this one.
I plan to keep this for several years, and would like to know more about it.
I just bought this at an estate sale, for a price that I was comfortable with, regardless of the creator.
I hope its not a Curtis Jere name, but who knows?
I have studied the famous article titled The Truth about C Jere.
This is a bronzed sculpture that was possibly attributed to the wrong person.
At the estate sale, it was attributed to Gene Horvath, a local art professor and scuptor from Rockford IL.
The previous owner was loaded with higher end art,and paintings.
This frame perimeter is roughly 60 inches wide x 19 tall.
While at the sale, I bought abroken sculpture marked " C Lacore "
When we took the large sculpture down, in was branded with the same name.
Has anyone ever heard of the C La Core name?
