Patchwork walnut table with chrome base and Herman Miller sticker, but I can’t seem to find any existence online - other than one ‘designer unknown’ listed on 1stDibs.

I think you're right to be suspicious. That does look like a HM foil label from the '70's, but that doesn't mean anything as fake ones are easily made or purchased. The stencil (or table for that matter) doesn't look like anything I've ever seen associated with Herman Miller.

An image search returns only the one example mentioned by OP - posted on 1stDibs, Chairish and Decaso with no HM tag or attribution.  Hard to believe there wouldn't be more examples online if it were actually HM.  I would proceed on the assumption it's not.

Thank you both. This is what I figured. Why someone would bother to slap it on there is strange. I purchased it from someone who had purchased it from a mid century dealer some years ago. Regardless still a beautiful table. Though I’d sooner think it’s Milo Baughman than Herman Miller.
