Authentication - Knoll Saarinen Vintage Oval Marble Pedestal Dining Table 78".  

Hi guys,

I am considering buying this table and was hoping you could give me your two cents about whether this is a real or replica Vintage Knoll Saarinen Oval Marble Pedestal Dining Table -78".

Initially, I didn't have any concerns because its a reputable seller and the table looked great overall and has a label (Knoll 1950s 575 Madison address), but once the seller sent me photos of the base and attachment, I got antsy. The seller said they replaced "the large wood platform under the marble."  I have no clue whether this is a red flag, or if this is just what a that kind of repair would look like for an earlier version of the table.
