Hi! My wife and I purchased this beautiful chair from an antique shop. I have sanded and refinished the wood and we are now going to have it upholstered in a rich cognac leather. I am trying to find the maker but am having a hard time finding information. It is marked with a single G with an atomic style emblem inside the G. Wood appears to be teak or walnut and is solid, not veneered. Any help identify would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time in advance!

The metal tag is more then likely an institutional inventory label. The chair is walnut and made by Stow and Davis, USA, middle 1950's.
