I've got this chair long time ago. The curvy organic line of the upper portion looks very like the round chair to me. But the original tag seems to be gone so I can't be sure,, I really appreciate your thoughts and comment !!

I think and comment that pictures would be nice.

Not any model by Hans Wegner.  It has a very American vibe.

Looks like this chair, which I think is Heritage Henredon from their Circa 60 collection, as shown in ad.

Almost thought it was this chair, attributed to Finn Andersen for Selig.

It’s funny, looking at that ad again I noticed the coffee table is this one I had a few months back and couldn’t identify.

As I recall there is a known designer for some or all of the Heritage stuff.  Trystcraft on Instagram posted about this, but off the top of my head he was a VP at Heritage before Henredon and Heritage merged (Heritage and Henredon had a sort of complex and confusing relationship).

There were quite a lot of Heritage Henredon designs and many of them were not well advertised but the designer studied Hans Wegner and Finn Juhl very closely including things like market tests in Baker’s advertising for a Baker version of the B098 lounge chair with leather inlays to the armrest instead of Bovirke’s rosewood.  In fact in that advertisement there was a line drawing for another FJ chair that has has never been produced by anyone to the best of my knowledge, but Heritage made a closely inspired version of this chair.  And the construction of these designs was very high end especially for American furniture.  My guess is that Heritage and Henredon who had specialized in high quality reproductions of traditional furniture saw that Baker (who had essentially that business model) was making a move into modern furniture with the Finn Juhl line (and a few other designers) and thought they needed a presence in the same market segment.

So while the designs were derivative the designer actually studied his inspirations very, very closely, which is an unusual and interesting phenomenon even though it will never have the cachet (or value) of being Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Johannes Hansen, Carl Hansen, Niels Vodder, Bovirke, or Baker etc.

Hi Mark. I'm sure there was a reason why you caught my post and helped by researching 👍

Yes, a great example of  'knowledge shared is knowledge gained", as one of our most respected members would say.
