Good morning dear friends,
I am new to Design addict and would love to get your help identifying this beautiful chair.
I just inherited this chair that I think is an Elizabeth chair or U-56.
My parents bought this chair 1965-1967 in Denmark and always said it was a design by Ib Kofod.
The chair was upholstered in, I think Hallingdal by kvadrat some 30 years ago.
I browsed the internet to try to figure out if this chair is original.
Everything tells me it is except that it seems it does not have the burned “C” stamp or I can’t find any markings, but it might be possible that some markings are underneath the fabric at the bottom. Please check photos in link.
All help would be much appreciated on identification of this beautiful chair if it is a true original Elizabeth.
All the best Dusa and thank you for a wonderful forum. I already discovered and learnt a lot.
@skaparinn I replied to your other post.
