I can’t seem to find any information on this maker from Otterup Denmark, it’s on the back of what I think might be an Arne Vodder tallboy set of drawers.

@jaymac What kind of info are you looking for?

Thanks for the reply. I have a tallboy (image attached) and I’m trying to identify the designer (possibly Arne Vodder) and this sticker is on the back. I was hoping to confirm the designer by researching the maker ie; Arne Vodder for ...Jacobsen etc, thanks for any help.

I have a large database of Danish makers marks, and have never seen this mark, nor come across a maker named Jacobsen based in Otterup. It could be a small maker, or possibly a retail store. It does not look like an Arne Vodder design.

I have searched old phone books and lists of makers but couldn’t find any Jacobsen in Otterup. I also checked furniture retailers but to no avail. I don’t know what he was but certainly not a big company and I strongly doubt that he worked with Arne Vodder.

Thanks for checking, much appreciated. I have seen only a few Arne Vodder designs that didn’t have the “bow tie”drawer fronts. Someone is selling one the same as mine and saying Arne Vodder (see attached) but I would never say something is ...... design without a makers mark or evidence so I’ll keep researching, thanks to everyone who looked.

Images in this thread illustrate a convincing argument in favor of keeping one's drawers in order.

If you’re referring to the 1st image then yes, this was pre-purchase by me and even though drawers are numbered by maker they were still out of order and unfortunately that way for some time so runners need some adjusting!

I'm not faulting anyone except maybe the designer for not graduating the drawers. It's one of my pet peeves regarding chests of drawers for visual reasons if not practical.

Ah, I see what you mean, larger bottom drawer then working their way up to smaller.
