I have not seen a similar design on a daybed. Does anybody know the designer?

The side sure looks like an Arne Vodder and Anton Borg (poor fellow always get left of his team efforts with Arne) for Vamo.

Speaking of Vamo, do you know who designed this chair for them?

Woodendoor, your daybed is generally attributed to Arne Wahl Iversen. Just google "Iversen daybed" for plenty of examples.
Is there some kind of stamp, label, etc.?

If you can find one of these on the internet that has a Komfort sticker, and Komfort was pretty good about marking their stuff, then I am definitely wrong...

Nor do I suffice it to say I doubt it is Vamo or Komfort, and therefore I see no justification in believing it to be Arne Wahl Iversen or Arne Vodder (and Anton Borg.)

Originally designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for the cabinetmaker, Thysen Nielsen. Part of the 1956 guild exhibition.
source: 40 Years of Danish Furniture Design - Vol 3, pgs 388-389
My guess is that most of the ones floating out there right now were part of a later factory production for export.
