Danish floor lamp identification  

@stevieg.By lamp holder ; do you mean the bulb holder? Pic of Made in Denmark label and its location on the lamp would help.

This lamp has a similar "loop" on the tripod legs.  The Danish seller believes it's by Sven Aage Holm Sorensen from the 1950's.  Here's the listing:

Hi thanks I had seen these during my search and did think they looked similar,the loop on my is wrapped in leather.
