Stunning teak on this highly unusual chair, which I like to think is sitting on skis and which may make this an easy ID for our illustrious members here. Reminiscent of Peter Hvidt in style - but actually has a little more personality I think

Sometimes it's helpful to know the geographical location where the piece was found.
FWIW, here in the US, we say this style has sled feet or a sled base.
