Hi everyone,
I came across an auction where they sell 4 Alvar Aalto / Artek stools, the E60 model.
I have serious doubts that they are Ikea Frosta, because the E60 (and all Artek models) have a thicker top than the Ikea ones. But the seller is telling me they are E60.
There's only 2 pictures online. I'm attaching them below.
Is there anyone who can help me identify the stools, or do you need more photos? I can ask for more detailed photos.
Thanks!
@arcticsounds, Definitely not by Artek, which still uses the original patented method of laminating the bends on the legs and 3 screws to attach each.
Honestly, the difference can be hard to see in photographs. But, if you look closely, you'll see that the laminations run the full length of the legs on the stools in your photos. Not so for Artek Aalto E60. There are other differences, too.

I know nothing of IKEA products, btw, except that it's all just KRAPPE anymore.
