Hello, I recently bought a credenza which was presented by the seller as an Aasbjerg rosewood. From all I have read on this wonderful forum, he did dovetail joints, not finger or box joints which I think were used on my piece.
Can anyone help with identification? Thanks

That is an Aasbjerg design. I can probably find the model number in a catalog. He also used finger joints sometimes on the corners of the cases. It may be that the finger jointed corners are later than the dovetails, as in later 60s or 70s, but I am not sure.
And it is teak, not rosewood. Solid teak stays much darker over the years than veneer, because there is a much larger supply of dark resin/oil inside the wood than in the thin veneer.
