Very intrigued by this design! Photors are by the seller, as I don't own this piece. Curious, though. Any thoughts or recollections about this one?

I have a few thoughts, but none of them are very definite:
-very likely from the mid 60s (earlier designs would not have need to differentiate themselves as much).
-probably not a very well known designer for the same reason.
-occasionally those lower handles are called "orange slice" handles and associated with Kai. Kristiansen. Don't know why and don't consider it very credible.
-Kurt Østervig is a target of attribution for sideboard that look like this.  Don't think there is much to the attribution.
-hope for a label. It would be the very best opportunity to identify it.
-without a label, you will probably have to try and identify it based on very minor construction details, like the sides of the drawers, edge banding, door slides, etc, which can be exhausting work as it requires looking at thousands of random photos. And it requires a discriminating eye for which characteristics are distinctive on the sideboard.
-Since we already know you want more than just the sideboard's aesthetic values to judge it by, you will probably only have its construction to judge it by. I.e generally better construction means the maker cared about it more, and it cost more, and is more special. This does not always correlate to the stature of the designer however.

Best of luck.  I hope you get it because. I am curious who, designed it.
