Hello,
I picked up this chair at a local auction. Has anyone seen one before? I haven't had much luck with my research.

Pelikan...
Gammelgaard was one half of the Pelikan design studio who aswell as Ikea designed stuff for Fritz Hansen.

Thanks again for the info. What is that book/catalog you posted the picture from? I paid $33 for the chair...how did I do? Could something from IKEA be considered rare? I had such a hard time researching the chair I was leaning toward it being a rarity, until it was brought to my attention it came from IKEA.

Yes, IKEA chairs can be rare.
Look at Panton's Vilbert chair, for example.
IKEA isn't in the business of producing limited-edition furniture, though, so if one of their products is rare, that's often because it simply wasn't popular and didn't sell... So rarity doesn't necessarily imply value.
