Does anyone recognize this unusual fan/lamp combination? The fan comes apart in three pieces. The blade piece comes out with a light bulb-like screw in attachment. The blue ball piece magnetically attaches to the base. Unfortunately, the wire has been cut, so there is no power plug. It has a UL sticker on the bottom, but no maker's markings. The only thing that came close in my research was a French design by Calor. Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure it isn't a mini fan designed to screw into a light socket, and a little desk light designed to have a light bulb in it.
They just don't look like they originally went together. And the Edison screw mount is very hard to understand if they did go together.

Like Leif was saying, the lamp fixture is something that is probably unrelated, and the fan appears to be a "Chadwick Miller 'Softwind'" fan, meant to screw into a light socket. .
