Unusual Bentwood 3 Legged Stacking Stool - Alvar Aalto / Thonet Interest

I have a pair of mystery 3 leg bentwood stacking stools similar in style to Aalto stools although not Aalto as they don't employ his finger jointed solid wood construction. The legs seem to be made from 5-6 sheets of wood glued together and then bent. I think the wood for the legs and veneered seat with edge band is bamboo. Although the seat tops have been refinished the patina on the legs and condition of the screws seem to date the stools anywhere from the 1930s to the 1960s. Height = 40cm, Seat Diameter = 34cm.
Any help or pointers for identification would be very much appreciated.
