Hi everyone,
I bought a second hand EA217 and I wonder if you could help me from which year it is. It has a very old design of the Vitra Logo on it, but at the same time the Herman Miller Logo on the hand knob under the seat.
I searched the whole Internet for an answer, but nothing. So maybe you could help me to find out if this is an Original and from which year it is.
The labels on the photo are the only ones which are on the chair. There is no label on the backrest as I saw it on newer chairs. I also wonder about the Logo. I never saw like that in any form.

Maurice – have you flipped it over? Every Eames management chair I have ever seen has been stamped with a date, usually under the seat inside the right armrest.
Pretty chair. I am firmly planted in my HM version c. 1991 as I type this. Can't say I have ever found a more comfortable desk chair.
