Hi , I am struggling to find where this lamp base was made. It was sold by a New Zealand furnishing company in the 1970`s.There is an old sticker on the base : Peter Jarrett &Co (1975) Ltd,Furnishing Specialists,Waikanea .I have not been able to find anything about this company. The colour is a bright orange .The picture shows a lot of reflections but it is a solid orange colour all over.I cannot see the inside of the lamp. The size is about 35cms tall and 25cms wide.Has anybody seen this design before?Any help would be appreciated ..Thanks for your time.

Hi,my mother has got one of these which she says was bought in the mid 70`s.As kids we knew it has the Home Guard lamp and it was only later we realised the mistake as it should be Holmegaard.Doh.It looks far better in real life than any picture can capture.Hopefully this info is helpful. All the best.
