This lamp used to belong to my father, until my mother threw it out because it 'stopped working' which is very annoying! I am trying to ID it so that I may track down another version. Sorry for the poor image quality. No images of the lamp exist so I had to screencap it from film footage.
As you can see it is a very elegant lamp with a long neck, which makes it stand out from any other fluorescent lamp I have ever seen. Hopefully this would indicate its origin to some scholar perusing these boards. It had a square black base with a circular white button which had turned cream with age. Does anybody recognise the design?
I would greatly appreciate any info on this as it had sentimental value (I remember it since childhood) and I would love to find a replacement.
