Hello, I'm new to this entire world and I recently bought 2 chairs I thought looked pretty without any knowledge to whom the designer is. When I looked the bottom of the chair I found a logo and a company name. Artifort, Paul Pierre and Orange Slice. From what I've found on Google it seems to be a rather expansive chair (Atleast to me since the most expensive chair I've owned is from Ikea). Is there any way to authenticate the chairs? Anyone who owns an original who can tell me if they look ok? or if it's a bad knockoff? I've included some pictures in the post.Basicly I need to know if it's safe for my son to sit in them or if I should take better care of them? All the best and thank you 🙂

Artifort is the original, authorized manufacturer of the Orange Slice and has been producing it for over fifty years.  Retail price for a new chair is $2500+, depending on fabric options.
There's nothing in your photos to suggest that your chair isn't genuine. I'd try to avoid pouring coffee on it, but that's just me.

Thank you for the input, any idea of the value of the chair in used condition, trying to decide if I made a good deal.

When you start a new thread here, there is a short list of basic rules that pops up.  In case you missed it, this is one of them:

Requests to identify objects are welcome as long as the object is believed to be modern, post-modern or contemporary (no antiques). You may ask for help identifying an object’s designer, producer, period, style, material etc. – but not its commercial value. This forum is not a free valuation service.

You can always google auction results and search for sold chairs on Ebay if you need to know what your chairs are worth, or pay an appraiser to do the research for you.  Good luck, those are great chairs!
