Need help identifying a maker's mark.  

Hi Folks,

First time post, so hopefully I'm in the right place. My partner and I have just bought a house, and the previous owners have included from very nice, hardwood furniture.

All of it looks very nice, but wanted to know a bit more about it. We've had people offer to buy it from us, but not sure what they're worth. All of the furniture has this Markers Mark / Embossed Coin fixed inside it somewhere.

It's about 2" brass/copper in colour, with 2 leaves that cross over at the stem. There's a circular garland and every piece has an individual serial number. (see picture)

We live in the UK, however the people who owned the house before us lived part of the time in mainland Europe.

Would love to know what these are if anyone can help.
