Just picked up this chair. It didn't have any tags or markings on it, but the shape/metal base/leather looked to be legit. The underside has small circular vents. I will try to add more photos in a bit. Anybody have any idea what type of chair this may be and who made it?

It looks like a Max Pearson for Knoll chair but I'm not sure the base is right and the height of the top part of the back may be a bit taller than on the real thing. It's hard to tell from a photo taken at this angle.
I don't know if these were copied or not. More pics will help---of the back, of the chair from more of a straight on angle, of the base and underside, etc. Find a bona fide chair online and take pics of yours from the exact same angle, that way you can compare the finer details.

If it is a Max Pearson chair for Knoll, the base could be an all chrome 4 star swivel (or fixed?) base with simple black rubber glides also used in the Saarinen Executive arm chairs. There are others with chrome and black 4 star swivel and fixed base with wheels also used in the Pollock executive contract chairs.

@spanky @minimoma thank you both! It is definitely a Max Pearson. It has the same back, 4 star metal fixed base and the black rubber glides.
