Rattan rather than bamboo
That set is rattan, not bamboo. Rattan is solid where bamboo is hollow in the center and tends to be more brittle. Rattan furniture is bent by heating with steam and after being set in a jig and drying it will hold its shape.
Anyway, the set you have there is not particularly desirable unfortunately. The sofa with the brass caps is generally the least expensive of the period rattan furniture. The rattan that is in greatest demand is the designs with multiple bands on the arms, the more bands the better. And among the most desirable forms is the design by Paul Frankl.
What you have there is a fun set that would be perfectly serviceable in a Tiki room, Florida room, three season room or screened patio but it's not by a known designer nor does it have a great deal of value.

I found this set on criagslist for $80 and thought It was worth it. Didnt know if it had any real value or not.
