This table is about 4' across. It is not hollow and it's lines are very dramatic as in its well made.
Any ideas as to who designed it?

I actually think it's pretty...
I actually think it's pretty cool and reckon it beats the majority of timber junk furniture shown here any day.

I was thinking the same thing...
It looks like it was probably used as a department store display pedestal/ stand - to put shoes, mannequins, etc...
