I've been in love with this lamp for as long as I can remember, and after all these years I've finally convinced my mother that it fits better in my house than in hers.
My parents bought it around 1980 in a design store and payed FL1000 ($650) for it. Unfortunately the store went out of business 2 years ago and I haven't been able to find anyone able to help me identify the designer of the lamp.

I would love to hear if anyone recognizes the design, and perhaps knows which light bulbs are intented to go with it.

What I can tell you about the lamp:
- I believe it was designed between 1968(*1) and 1982(*2)
- All the metal parts are chromed
- The pool exists of several parts with different lenghts so it can be adapted to different ceiling heights
- The 3 lamp fittings can be clamped over the pole at any height, and consist of: 2 black bakelite parts shaped to 'hug' the pole, 1 round metal ring that fixes the bakelite pats to the pole and holds the fitting, 1 fitting that can turn up/down in the metal ring
- the 'springs' at the top and bottom of the lamp can also be ajusted in height and are completed with 4 off-white rubber balls to keep the metal from scratching the surface
- !!!I don't know what kind of light bulbs are meant to be fitted in the lamp. The light bulbs on the photo are my own idea, they aren't part of the original design!!!
- ...the photo's I've posted are huge, so you can scroll to the right for additional photo's of details of the lamp 🙂

Thanks for your help,
Centi

*1 the 'VLM D662' floor dimmer that is used on the lamp was designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1968
*2 my parents bought it before I was born

I am a big fan of pole lamps
But I am not a fan of all these dangling wires.
