The finger jointed front corners greatly reduce the probability of home-made production in my mind. And the upholstery is well done. The odds of a home craftsman who can upholster well and cut finger joints, really, really low.

ist hard to say, but if the designer isnt known, there could be a very well made homemade piece, isnt it?
there is also an Ottoman available.
ist hard to say something about the Age of this chair.

It could be a home made piece. I can think of at least one person in the world who could have cut finger joints and upholstered it well, so perhaps. But the odds of that in general are vanishingly slim. And the odds it was manufactured are much much higher.
It looks Italian to me, but then I am no specialist in italian design.

I was looking through images of sofas on lauritz with google image search. Looking for something entirely different, recognized the sofa you were asking about. Complete coincidence.
But I learn a lot from looking for random id requests, especially because Google is never so direct as to give you what you actually ask for, so I find all sorts of other things when I set out looking for one thing.
