I've not seen that
... design with the distinctive seat back, but the rest of the chair reminds me of Thonet.

I do not have the slightest idea about your chair, but I do appreciate your Alessi chotchkies and the Ingo Maurer suspension lamp. I can never have enough of those two brands.
Are you aware that the Alessi 2014 warehouse sale is this weekend? A number of their dealers are participating and I have attached a sample dealer page. I ordered several hundred dollars of Alessi chotchkies from SOHO for myself (not many) and my family (plenty and then some).
