I picked up this Sputnik chandelier a couple months ago on Craigslist for...well, for a song, really. I don't think the seller knew what he had until he got a huge response...and at that point, it was too late. (Lucky me!) At any rate, I've pretty much decided that I'm going to sell it on Ebay. I wouldn't be able to use it for years (no overhead fixtures in my apartment) and I see that they sell for a pretty good price.

After some sleuthing, I've found some chandeliers that look pretty much identical. The brand of those is Lightolier. I don't see any brand markings on my chandelier, but I do know that it was original to the house where I bought it, which was built in 1973.

What do you think? Is this a Lightolier, or are there other brands I should look up?

That is pretty much my only...
That is pretty much my only hesitation with selling it on Ebay. You better believe that if/when it sells, I'm going to be packing it with bubble wrap and packing peanuts and clouds and angel wings.
