Hi, can someone help me to identify these two lamps? I posted this thread earlier but without any result.
The first table lamp reminds me of the futuresque designs Sottsass made in the 1950s for Arredoluce. The lamp has a nickel plated structure with a glossy black lacquered dome-shaped shade. The color combination of the wiring elements (which seems to be original) is rather unusual: a green wire with a red plug and black switch (plug and switch signed Ticino Italy). Approx. dimensions are 32 (H) x 41 (W) x 38cm (D). I purchased this lamp about 20 years ago in Belgium, but I doubt the lamp was made in Belgium.
The second table lamp is very Arteluce / Sarfatti-like. The lamp was probably designed in the 1950s. The narrow zeppelin-shaped shade is mounted on a brass arm, which is adjustable. The arm is mounted on a black lacquered base. Approx. dimensions are 22 (H) x 40 (W) x 10cm (D).
All help is welcome! Thanks...
