I've scoured the net looking for some nugget that will help shed light on this chair but have been unsuccessful. It looks similar in some ways to a Mulhauser chair but I haven't found anything to substantiate that. Anybody have any insight on this one?
Thanks!

now that is a beautiful...
now that is a beautiful chair - the back looks like oak veneer, although the upholstery is yuck - (blue??) if you could get it done in black leather... *Drools*
however, the problem with vintage office chairs is the lack of ergonomics, and the trinity of raise, swivel and tilt.
It's walnut, definitely not...
It's walnut, definitely not Oak. The photos don't actually do the shells justice, as they are richer in color in person.
No label of any kind. I know there was one originally because I found a tiny piece of paper underneath the chair that would have been the corner of the label. It was so small though that there was nothing printed on it that could give any type of indication.
It's really perplexing to me who the maker could be. It is a stunning chair and even though blue may not be your color of choice, the upholstery is actually pretty cool.
Hopefully someone else will be able to provide some insight since the rest of us are perplexed.
