A family friend is looking into buying a sectional sofa like this one at a local vintage modern shop, but is trying to find out more information before pulling the trigger. I've seen this before but haven't been able to recall the maker. Can anyone here shed some light on the manufacturer or designer of this piece so they can make an educated buy. They are furnishing a home they have been building themselves for years and don't want to get robbed on price if it can be avoided.

Looks like generic 1960s American designed furniture, to me.

I sold
an arm chair that was identical. At the time I could NOT find any attribution. But yes, American. Pretty good build quality as I remember.

Thanks for the info. I...
Thanks for the info. I figured it was American, based on the wood and general style but have been searching the past two days trying to find an attribution somewhere.
Our friends haven't told me what the shop is asking for the set, but given what I have heard about this establishment's pricing, I figure it's on the high end. They turned to me to see if I could dig up any info before going through with it. In my eyes, if they like it, it fits their needs and is in good shape then I think it would be a good piece to have. But I'd hate for them to get fleeced. I guess I'll just give them the general info and have them proceed with caution. Who knows, maybe the price is pretty reasonable and I'm just assuming the worst.
Thanks all.
