So I bought this eames lounge chair about 6 months ago and it has some strange things going on. I eamiled HM about it and they seem puzzled and ended up saying part of it is real and part of it is fake. I really wasn't happy with there response as it didn't make sense. So I did some more research and I found some interesting info. The chair I have has no clips for the cushions, instead in the back panels there are snap buttons in place of the clips. There isn't holes or any evidence of clips being there. On the seat and ottoman there is only buttons in the front middle and back middle. Also under the armrest there is only 2 holes, but the holes are in the far back and front.I have 4 eames lounge chairs to compare this chair to.As I did research th only exaple I coud find with the same details is the chair in this video.. At the end of the video they show the chair being built. Note there is only snap buttons and only 2 holes under the armrest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIEb4HcgZ4sIf any one can tell me more that would be great. Maybe the year? Or how i could find more info. Here are some photos.
