Desperate for MCM end table ID or info.  

Hi, I collect MCM furniture for my home and recently bought a this pair of side/ end tables and have had no luck identifying them. No markings or labels still present on them, besides some grease pencil markings from factory.

They are very similar to a Jens Risom end table I have, but with enough differences I don't think it's on of his designs. My gut tells me it's either Scandinavian or an American manufacturer imitating Danish modern style.

They are solid wood, with laminate tops. The bottom shelf is dowel rods for magazines, etc... There are a few circular brass colored screws securing the shelves to the legs.

Any ideas? I would be very grateful for any advice or info.
