1970s Waterfall Desk

Would like help to identify the maker or approximate value of this Waterfall desk.  It was purchased by my aunt in the 1970s. It is mauve lacquered (?).  She insists it’s valuable but unable to tell us more and it would help to have some idea of its value to determine what to do with it.  The closest in style is one made by Jonathan Adler. There are no markings on the desk that I’ve found to indicate the maker.

I should think the mauve lacquer is at least as desirable as the celadon or the periwinkle or the alabaster or the
