| D & H Teak Dining Chairs Identification... | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | Woodworm | Identification | |
| Hello, Would greatly appreciate any information about 4 mid century teak dining chairs that I have just acquired. The bases of the stretchers are all inscribed 4 - 64 (date presumably) and D & H. They have an obvious Danish influence but I think that are most likely to be British - any ideas? | |||||
| Need help identifying my dining room set please | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | AlinaLynne | Identification | |
| Please excuse my ignorance. Can someone please help me identify my dining room set. I've done some research to try and figure it out myself but I'm just more confused. I've seen it listed as 1960's mid-century modern Romanian drop leaf hideaway table with four folding chairs. As 1960's modern mid-century Danish double drop leaf gateleg table with 4 matching chairs. And 1950's Vintage mid-century modern drop leaf table and 4 folding chairs. Just to mention a few. I've uploaded a pic that has the stamps of all 4 of my chairs. To save time the other is a stock ... | |||||

| Please help ID dining chairs inherited from mom | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | scribeco | Identification | |
| The story goes that my father/mother and aunt/uncle all chipped in and bought a "shipping container" of Danish furniture that was sent to the US by boat in the very early 1960s, or even possibly 1959. My mom recently passed and left us the dining room table and chairs. Based on these pictures of one side chair, can anyone tell me the designer and/or style? I've searched Google images and have seen similar, but nothing exactly the same. Thanks, Charlie | |||||

| 60ies Danish style dining chair with a handle -- any clues? | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | professor | Identification | |
| Hi Everyone, I have a set of dining chairs just like the ones on the pictures [the pics are from German eBay], although in very different upholstery, probably not the original one. I couldn't find much about them on the web, they seem to be from the 1960ies. They have a handle on the backrest and seem to be in the style of the chair of Finn Juhl, that's all I've been able to dig up. Pictures are below. Any help would be highly appreciated! | |||||
| Teak Dining Table Identification, Possibly Salin of Denmark | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | dozer | Identification | |
| Hi, I found this dining table in a junk shop. It wasn't in the best of condition but I purchased anyway as I like the shape of the legs. I assumed it was g-plan when I brought it (I am in the uk) but cant find one the same, someone suggested maybe Salin? Was wondering if anyone knows who made it. I can take more pics if that helps as I realise my phone snaps are a bit rubbish. Thanks for any help 🙂 | |||||

| Johannes Andersen Dining Table Veneer Repair | 2 Relevance | 8 years ago | AAMac | Repair | |
| Hello All, I've been reading the forum for a while, but have just joined. I wonder if anyone could give me some advice on a small repair. I recently purchased a Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik dining table. It's in teak, and in pretty good condition overall. However, the top has wide (cathedral like) grain, and in a few of the bigger grain lines, the veneer seems to have pulled apart, and some of the substrate is peaking through. These are pretty minor, but I would like to touch them up. I was thinking about trying to fill them with wood repair wax, ... | |||||
| Repairing a set of dining chairs | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | frnturelvr | Repair | |
| I recently purchased a set of what I think are Erik Buck model 49 dining chairs that need some love. Most of the joints are loose. The backrests are held in with screws hidden behind wood caps, some of which are missing. And the frames are held together, it looks, by dowels. I've restored finishes before, but I've never repaired loose joints on chairs like this before and wanted to get some advice on how to go about it. Also I could use some advice on how to source replacement screws and wood caps for the seat backs. Thanks! | |||||

| Hi, I found one dealer sold ib kofod larsen's dining table and their's have made in canada sticker instead of Faarup Mobelfabrik.(half of the sticker damaged but it is "Danish Custom Furniture / Made in Canada by A. Jensen & Son Limited". Their table looks exactly the same as one from Faarup Mobelfabrik. I saw some Kai Kristiansen's has made in canada stamp and I have one dresser has " A product of Denmark / Assembled and Finished in Canada". Do you guys know anything about this? I just curious about it. Please let me know! *some images from google. | |||||
| Mystery Cassina dining table and chairs | 2 Relevance | 9 years ago | elessar | Identification | |
| Well mystery to me at any rate. I recently purchased this dining table and chairs but sadly I have not been able to identify the model or designer of the set. Chairs are clearly marked Cassina with a white label and reverse of the label reads R/10 but no visible mark or label to the table. Would greatly appreciate any information that the group can provide on the set. | |||||
