| I'm diggin' the roofline. I wonder if a heavy New York snowfall would accumulate in the recesses? maybe not, Aunt Mark ps the wooden walkway's appear to be added by another architect/designer. | |||||

| after some more digging, I've found several of these tables stamped "Moreddi"......I realize that Moreddi was an importer, and not a designer/manufacturer.......so while this does help narrow things, I still have no clue as to who designed of manufactured it........still working on it though! | |||||

| Well I did some more digging around and I think the one side chair that I discovered is a Folke Ohlsson chair. It does not have any labels or stamps on it, so I do not think it is a real DUX chair........must be a knock off, but a pretty good one. | |||||
| More digging: Hans Nikolaj | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | leif ericson - Zephyr Renner | General discussion | |
| More digging: Hans Nikolaj Jensen's son was Peter Arenkiel Jensen. And here is a later Tørring piece with "design:Arenkiel" on the label. (it should also be noted that the Arenkiel name shows up in every following generation). I don't believe it is entirely clear which family member is specifically referred to by Arenkiel, or if it generally refers to the family, but my guess would be Peter Arenkiel Jensen is being identified as the designer. | |||||
| Have you tried digging | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | leif ericson - Zephyr Renner | General discussion | |
| Have you tried digging through the danish furniture index? I would not get too precise with the query. You would probably have to look at every chair that comes up in the category "Chair" to know for certain that it isn't there. | |||||

| I did some more digging on the no.811'prague' chairs. The Knoll versions from 1950-1953 (model 146 and 147) were made by Thonet from the factory in Czechoslovakia. Why Knoll chose not to use Thonet's assigned model number for the 'Prague' chairs, that I do not know. Good for you that you resolved your inquiry with your own diligent research. | |||||

| Dinnerware is not really my area of expertise, but I've done a little digging in to it anyway. The designer is Niels Refsgaard.(NR initials can be seen on the plate on the left) He started by building his own oven, for his production of ceramics. His designs has been produced in Denmark, France, Portugal, Norway, Japan, China, The Phillipines and Sri Lanka (as marked on the plate on the left in the picture) Niels Refsgaard still runs a small shop in Bisserup, Denmark, which is open by appointment. http://refsgard.dk/ (website is part danish and part engli ... | |||||
