| ... the past. But with @barge, I had to think it through. The post was all about design and didn't include a link, so I decided to let it pass. Turns out that was a mistake. The bots are having a party under this text. It's also interesting to see how bots always seem to gather around their own kind. | |||||
| Identify Hansen Jacobsen 3217? | 1 Relevance | 2 years ago | blackstar | Identification | |
| Could anybody please help me to identify the age of this Hansen / Jacobsen 3217 chair? I asked in the General category already but didn't get any response. Is there a way to tell if this is an early revision of the vintage model? And is there a way to tell if the leather/upholstery is original or not? Thanks a lot! | Hey! Yes, I remember it to from Alien. It also starred a Planta coatstand by Castelli, but spraypainted in silver, if I am correct.Waw, your Braun pieces look immaculate! The radio is a Hans Gugelot design, I believe? I adored the white laquered glass scale and button configuration, which were implemented in numerous cases. I've owned a PKG3 and a G11, with that same interface. This model I've always 'lusted' for, but didn't come up on my radar: TS-G Attachment: table-radio-ts-g-by-hans-gugelot-helmut-mueller-kuehn-for-braun-ag-germany-1955-1.jpg | |||||

| ... industry as an upholsterer, he had an upholstery business in Hedensted in 1955. Johan worked as a salesman. In 1960, the Knudsen brothers founded Mobilia Møbler, a partnership specializing in furniture sales, with a dedicated department for office furniture and home furnishings. So @cdsilva seems to be kind of right. Apparently they didn't produce the desk themselves. They either just sold it or they had a subcontractor who made it exclusively for them. | |||||

(Hopefully posting this link is allowed? I will take it down if not). I looked through the Dux material I could find on this site last night, but didn't see it. Thanks! | @meggan-dwyergmail-com It's Slagelse Møbelvaerk, later production. I guess 60s but I did a quick search and didn't find another one. Kurt Ostervig drew many designs for them later on. It could also be an in house design or one of many other designers. Slagelse worked with a whole bunch. | |||||

| @sturfry The photos didn‘t Show, probably because they were too larger than 2MB each. Make sure they are smaller than that and try to post them again. You can edit your original post, add a pic, edit the post again, add another pic and so on. | |||||

| Haven’t posted on here in forever but thought this latest thing I acquired was worthy! Market place find that I somehow didn’t have to compete for, saw it, sent the money and it was marked sold. | @mark737 Hey, good to hear from you!!!! The site has been up for a couple of weeks now, I just didn't find a way to log in because the capture doesn't work. But now that you were there, I searched for a workaround and found a direct wordpress log in. How cool is that. @cdsilva, @tktoo, @lexi, @bot12345: if you want so say hi and the Log In doesn't work, try this link. It was of course unfortunate that the forum disappeared without a word about a year ago. At the time, I contacted Elizabeth, who told me that they had been considering moving the forum to ... | |||||
| RE: Hi, can you help to fin the Designer of this rosewood desk stamped "made in Denmark" ? | 1 Relevance | 1 year ago | Herringbone | Identification | |
| @chris-danish That's a nice one, looks bit older than the others. And you are probably right, although I didn't see a definitive proof. But the design seems consistant with many others of his. His name was Gunnar Tibergaard Nielsen by the way, die company was called Ikast Mobelfabrik. But that's just on a sidenote. | |||||
| George Nelson for Herman Miller identification | 1 Relevance | 1 year ago | mcm_fan_05 | Identification | |
| Hello! I just won a pair of George Nelson dressers at auction. Reverse image searching didn't turn up much in terms of similar units. Can someone help me ID the model/year/any other context? It certainly looks like his thin-edge line and has the foil stamp but the sled base and brass (?) pulls are throwing me off. https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/205826108_a-george-nelson-for-herman-miller-rosewood-double-chest-of-drawers Attachment: 205826108_1_x.jpeg | |||||
