	you still didnt address what I said You have talked 3x more than anybody else in the last two days-- yet your poem rants about too much verbal clutter. I just think you should admit that you are the one who sounds like a broken power mower. So admit it. OK? YOU talked more than anybody, and now you complain about the clutter. Own up. And I hardly have been posting any longer than you dude. Im pretty new here. So that whole 12 friends thing is kinda lame.

	Killian, Perhaps they didnt... Killian, Perhaps they didnt hang around too long because of how poorly designed the forums are? Actually now that I think about it, it's a little ironic that a website and its forum members who are devoted to good design are willing to tolerate such a poorly designed website (the design, interface and usability issues go beyond just the forums). Personally I dont have a problem with the forum as it serves its purpose for me, but it really is pretty bad.

	lunchbox, i disagree I know that "color differences occur due to age/environment" blah blah blah is the standard assumption. In my opinion, that assumption is clearly and simply wrong. I have plenty of "matching sets" that have mellowed a bit differently, and that is not what I am talking about. That is why I decided to post my observations. 	Look good to me. Knoll didnt ... Looks good to me. Knoll didnt start stamping these chairs until very recently and the seat bracket mounting the base to the chair has changed serveral times through the course of production). Very fine wire wool, auto-sol (chrome polish) and a bit of elbow grease works a treat for getting rid of the pitting and bringing the chair back to life!

I didnt mean it to sound like an auction, we have had various advice on here about the price, again we have no true value of this. we think we will try to find a good auction house, we have never sold anything that way so it may be interesting. 	I'm glad I didnt lose on my... I'm glad I didnt lose on my first piece. I picked up this bottle from an antique store and it is awesome. It's called Howards feed-n-wax. The wood looked dried out and no gloss at all after a few rubs of the feednwax the wood looks great. Warm and glossy and moist. If anybody needs to bring back the wood, this is great stuff. I love this chair I would have gladly paid more for it if the owner would not have gone down on the original price of 225.00

	They didnt Its Jeremiah's warehouse. Those things were on Craigslist Boston about a year ago. While the frames are similar, the proportions are all off. The frame under the cushions is beveled on the Eames, not stepped like it is here. I wonder if these were cobbled together using Eames pieces. Such an unusual piece to knock-off though. However, the Eames sofa was completed after Charles' death. At that time Ray began working on Eames Design, and surely this would be noted in there. 	I didnt bother I didnt bother with solvents.. went right to sandpaper. The trick was using a finer grain - 100 at most - so as not to go through any plys. It took about an hour per shell- little more with the seat shell & ottoman shell.
