| met police report I don't know who was the lady who called me back to have more info, what I can say is that I didn't go there in person, I reported it through this email address: mailbox.internet@met.pnn.police.uk so I suggest you use this email as hopefully the same office will recieve many claims. I gave full description of the event, provided two or three links of forums (included this one) to show it was not just me, attached the payment invoice and gave full info about the 3 or 4 websites these scammers have. In few days I received a report from the po ... | |||||

| I want to try that food ! 3) My/Our Dear brnki said: "when I think about it deeper, I must say that the biggest difference is in aesthetics aspects. Traditional food of our country isn't so "good looking", it is more about cheap food that fills the stomach :)" Dear dear brnki, One one side, I never thought that full stomachs it's so bad... Here and in many places we had food that fills our eyes, but almost not the stomach. (This can be apply to fast food as well as to Nouvelle cuisine 😉 ) (On fast food I'm referring to the ads with many signs whit stars and ... | |||||

| ... room it was to go in. That took quite a bit longer than planned, like years longer. The lamp was off in a corner gathering dust. I'd admire it every now and then and was really looking forward to having a real place for it and using it every day. OK, so the room was nearly done. Windows were in, door installed, walls and ceiling painted, FLOR tiles ordered. I'd put the lamp next to the wall on the cement slab floor, safely out of the way. One day I had to move another piece of furniture that was kinda near the lamp. What I didn't see was that the lamp ... | |||||

| Shipping It seems like there are numerous online retailers that ship Herman Miller (and Knoll?) products for free. I wonder if Herman Miller absorbs some of the cost and/or if there is some drop-shipping involved. Amazon offers free shipping on most of their stocked items. If they didn't, I would have to go to big box stores much more often than I would like. I do a lot of shopping online out of convenience. But significant shipping costs would force to me to reconsider. | |||||

| DWR keeps making bad moves They are opening yet another brick and mortar in Palm Springs. Stupid. And opened in Toronto...stupid. They overexpanded and didn't really fight the manufacturers enough on that BS MAP policy, which is honestly screwing the retailers and manufacturers. | |||||

| . Personally I don't consider it an insulting term at all. We have elite sportspeople, elite restaraunts...its a spectrum, if we didn't have an elite fashion industry where would Targets designers go to steal ideas? Its only when people with that attitude gain power outside of their field and become a recognisable class that I get nervous. In my opinion I think I make superior choices when it comes to purchasing and caring for goods than most people. I don't have a lot of money or power but what I do have I use to the best effect I can. | |||||

| Domes of Silence ... ah, -now I get it! When Whitespike added to Barry's first words, I still didn't get it... I just wondered if I'd missed something essential and it started to freak me out... -Now, I'm back on track! Ok, maybe I should just leave the glides on then... I read on Eamesoffice that the reason they were replaced with the boot glides by Herman Miller in the early 1950's, was that 'the Domes of Silence had a tendency to snap off, or fall off'. ... | |||||

I too interviewed and had a good job prospect on that one visit to Portland, unfortunately, that was the DOTCOM days and the interview didn't pan out. I loved to call Portland Seattle "lite", all of the flavor at a portion of the price...at least at that time, I know now that it is not as "inexpensive" as it was then. I have never seen such a group of laid-back folks in all my ...

| ... if that is what a large company will do WITH regulation, what would they do without any? Folks need to worry less about profit taking in the sofa business, and look at the companies that are exploiting their workers, the environment, and the public to rake in more profits. You will likely not meet a greater deficit hawk than me, but to criticize the stimulus package as a "spending bill" misses the point entirely. That's the idea. To inject a bunch of money into the economy and jump start spending since nobody else is spending money and can't get the credit ... | |||||

But your larger question interests me more and it is something we have struggled with. Our house is in real danger of looking like a total time warp. I have always been of the opinion that you should collect what you love, and live with your collections. I maintain that one's unique "eye" will shine through and all the elements will work together somehow making interesting and unexpected connections when seen togeth ...

| Thanks Thanks -- I too have bought some of those soap flakes. In case anyone is interested, the company I have since bought the chair from also offered me a thin leather cushion especially designed to go with the Wishbone. It cost something like $160. It didn't appeal to me but might be worth knowing about if you want more comfort. | |||||

| I don't believe this chair even appeared in the movie. What's more, Allen Jones didn't design anything for the movie. The reason why he's always erroneously linked to it is because the naked-chick set design for the milk bar was INSPIRED by (or, ripped off from) Allen Jones work. I've seen this chair online attributed to Allen Jones, one has to take it on faith, as with most things they read online... | |||||

| ... CL with a pretty good success rate. Big stuff that I didn't put on Ebay because packing & shipping is too much work. I think you have to scan the ads daily, if not two or three times a day. Also, when you reply to ads, tell the person a little about yourself. I know that when I get an email saying "is this still available?" it sounds like someone who isn't particularly interested. But when I get one that says "I'm a fan of MCM style and have been looking for just the right chair for my mod desk. Have you sold this one yet?", it just strikes a better no ... | |||||
