| thanks @cdsilva, the info is much appreciated. attached is a better photo of the foil label for your collection 🙂 i also thought that it might be earlier rather than later. the foil label with hans j. wegner as a cursive signature (in the photo you attached) feels like a more modern affectation. i would have thought that earlier iterations would not have thought to do this and would have used the block letters for his name as per my label ... but this is pure speculation on my part. finally, yes, all of the chairs have the block letter burn stamp on the underside of the seat and also have traces of the foil label as well. thanks again for the info ! jonny Attachment: 20210527_170402_resized.jpg | |||||

| Goppion actually produces high-quality display cases, mainly for museums, the Louvre etc. As far as I know, Sandro Goppion designed this shelf at the end of the 1970s, apparently not very many were privately owned, which was certainly due to the high price. I wasn't really interested in glass shelves either until I saw this one by accident. Actually, I wanted to pick up an Alanda coffee table from Paolo Piva. Then it hung there, 20cm above the ground in front of a large glass front in a beautiful 1970s bungalow. 3 glass shelves equipped with an exclusive stereo system and the matching, very discreet halogen lamp. Next to it a black leather lounge chair, that really impressed me. In the background the Alanda table, the same glass thickness, the same curves, the same cut, simple and clear, perfect for me. | |||||

| My favourite recent discovery were these 4 promotional posters that I stumbled across at Mercat Dels Encants flea market in Barcelona a little while ago. They are promoting a men's tailoring trade fair ranging from 1963 to 1971. I love the mid century styling of the graphics. Very Saul Bass. But if you can't find a genuine 1960s print there are some great mid century style artworks here. [link removed] Attachment: WhatsApp-Image-2021-11-09-at-5.34.00-PM.jpeg | |||||

| @frankielemmons That's my fault, I saw FD109 and assumed FD116 without a photo, specifically because you started talking about 3 versus 2 backslats. Being a bit of a sucker for that design, I am particularly aware of that exact difference in versions of the FD116, but apparently I am not particularly anal/aware when it comes to the model number! | |||||

| @minimoma I walked past a restaurant the other day and thought of you, because I believe you mentioned these got your into design - or perhaps I misremember? Anyway, I saw some fixture shop with a lineup of these taps in a rainbow palette. It was nice to see in my area, which mostly likes to cater to incredibly rich tasteless people who want everything to look like a boutique hotel. Sometimes, very rarely, some decent design slips in under the radar! | |||||

| You remember right Kyle. Vola faucets by Arne Jacobsen (1968) had become a standard issue in many high end minimalist interiors, they are everywhere but quietly in the background. Attachment: vola-jacobsen-1.JPG | |||||

| @kyle-barrett @andersen Sorry you haven't had the luck I had assumed was more widespread. The marble lamp is the Scarpa Biagio for FLOS. There is a really good video of how they are made if you scroll down a bit on this page: https://www.flos.com/products/table/biagio/biagio/ For the Wanscher chairs, the ones I am referring to aren't the Senator chair. In the photos below you can see that the taller back/three slat version has both the early France and Son medallion and the France and Daverkosen stamp below it (I realized after posting that the FD stamp is hard to make out, but it is on the slat just below the medallion). While the next two photos of the lower back/two slat version just have the France and Son medallion. I guess it is simply that the design changed over time.
