| I'm sorry. I have no clue... I'm sorry. I have no clue who made it but I do think it is cool. I like the way they designed the cushions to be set back into the couch they didn't just make a flat back for the cushions to rest on. I think it would be great on a porch or in a rumpus room or an office. Good find- and I hope you find a maker! | |||||

| Should I remove the paint? I picked this up for $5 but someone thought it they needed to paint the whole thing black. Luckily they didn't paint the very bottom. You can still see the wood grain through the black stain. The paint on the wire base is flaking off so that should be easy. | |||||

| It's not quite as simple as... It's not quite as simple as that pirate. If I didn't like it I wouldn't be considering buying it. Is our dream set? No, but that doesn't mean it can't be purchased and appreciated. I don't see anything wrong with trying to find out about its possible value though. I'm just trying to make an educated decision in regards to the purchase because I don't want to invest way more money in purchasing and restoring something than what is is worth. On the flip side of that, if it was of a greater value I'd be happy to save it from a bar ... | |||||

| ... contacted a lawyer who appeared in court for me (out of state transaction) and won the case. I did not have to return the guitars and he still owed me a refund of all money spent. The reason I didn't return the guitars was just so he couldn't resell them to get the money to pay me back which would have just started a never ending cycle (until he found someone that accepted them as real). I was the second one to get the guitars, the guy before me returned them for a refund. I stopped the cycle but it cost me. If he offers a refund than where is the crime? I ... | |||||

| luna One thing that I didn't know when I first went there was that pretty much every store sticks to the suggested retail price for stuff, so if you see something you like, just get it. You're not going to see it at a better price somewhere else. (Obviously this goes for new stuff only!) | |||||

| Lloyd, I didn't see any pix of your Panton cone chair that I know you adore! did they edit you? Everything is just beautiful and I know you've worked so hard for such a long time. Congratulations! Special recognition for mixing in the occasional piece from other periods. That's my favorite style, as well. It just makes a house look like a home and not a showroom. Job well done. | |||||

| ... up. Well, I didn't, anyway--and the first time I stepped foot into one, my heart sank at the prospect of sharing such a tiny space for 5 days with my husband. But it was not at all what I'd imagined it would be! Chairs and table fold up and hang on the wall, beds double as sofas, and there are open shelves for your (folded) clothes and stuff. It took a bit of doing to figure out how to shower without getting everything wet (put towel and toilet paper on high shelf over toilet--duh). Also--big, wonderful breakfast spread every morning for about $10, all ... | |||||

| widemount dowels I know a particular company offers widemount dowel bases...I'm skeptical about the way they look. Are they really that bad? I remember one of you DA fanatics mentioned that they didn't like that base. I know it's not true to the widemount fiberglass chair but instead of remounting the 4 shockmounts (really annoying), this could be a viable alternative. | |||||
