| Nice. I didn't know anyone else on here collected Kronjyden Relief. I have a small collection but they are hard to come by in the U.S., as I don't think the line was ever sold here. | |||||

| Thank you Spanky! I didn't know the name of that stuff, so I couldn't find it. I just reused the old stuff when I re-did my Papa Bear. The very center of the Papa bear seat is made of two layers of that stuff. To make the cushion, you spray adhesive the fabric directly to the shaped latex foam cushion half, put a layer or rubberized horsehair on top, and hand stitch the fabric to the rubberized horsehair. Do the same for the other half. Then you hand stitch the welt onto the edge of one of these halves, and finally stitch both halves together. The fact ... | |||||

| Tktoo: I didn't know you were a Zappa fan. If you do use oxalic, please remove the finish. I experimented with not removing the finish just once, and it was a very bad idea. The entire surface came out with leopard spots from where the oxalic had unevenly penetrated. It took rather a lt of work to fix that. One possibiy minimally invasive option would be to leave all the damage and existing finish alone, and add toned oil finish on top. You would need to spot check for compatibility with the existing finish. Then either use tinted Danish oils, or mix y ... | |||||

| I didn't mean to sell this | 2 Relevance | 12 years ago | bj | General discussion | |
| I didn't mean to sell this through the forum, I just wanted some insight in selling and shipping internationally, going through auctions etc. That said I posted this on the buy & sell (formerly Radar), as no advise was coming up. | |||||

| Not sure why I didn't come | 2 Relevance | 12 years ago | cdsilva | General discussion | |
| Not sure why I didn't come across this during previous searches, but I now believe dillingham to have been the manufacturer of this desk. There are quite a few photos of labeled dillingham furniture online that have the same profiled edge trim, tambour door details, and/or white interiors. Could have been part of the Esprit line, or similar. Those references I posted in Nov 2014 for John Kapel and Glenn of California appear to be misattributed dillingham pieces as well. | |||||

| Didn't see post # 30 until today. The first photo is almost surely oak or ash; the second one really doesn't look like either of those. Could it possibly be a re-skin -- assuming these photos are of the same chair ? | |||||
