| Thank you. I didn't post pictures originally thinking I was asking others to do work that I should be doing for myself. But I've spent an unreasonable amount of time comparing designers, company lines and worst of all comparing the font style used by 10,000 companies as a last ditch effort to narrow down where this stupid table came from. I can identify a custom Platner executive desk and credenza with Litton, Lehigh-Leopold missing but stuck on something that should be so simple. I'm posting the picture (or trying to as I'm techno-stupid) and if someone can ... | |||||

| There's a difference between snark, mean and worse. Certainly didn't mean to deceive, was under the impression that all the full covers were by the same designer. I guess instead of correcting accidental inaccuracies with holier than thou snobbery is just how you roll. That's cool. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day on 4chan, troll. | |||||

| Also, cdsilva, you didn't say if the owner inherited it from his parents who worked for BMW in the early years and were given factory seconds and prototypes as gifts? Because that could be a major clue in this mystery. | |||||

| While this thread didn't catch my attention when it was first posted in June, it does now. Recently I had quite a busy acquisition stretch of three pairs of chairs, as well a single Frem Rojle parts chair (no backrest), within a few days. While the Bill Stephens Knoll arm chairs were nice, I was more interested in the Johannes Andersen Jeppesen chairs (discussed in another thread), and a pair of Arne Vodder Bo-92s side dining chairs for Bovirke. From what I've recently read, these Vodder Bovirke swivel back chairs preceded the better-known France Daverkose ... | |||||

| I didn't know and have never noticed that the number of leg bend inserts changed over the years. I have a stack of 10 Aalto stools here which I'm sure cover every decade of manufacture since the 1930s right up to 2006. If watching the Tour de france gets momentarily boring this week I'll "count the kerfs" and report back. | |||||

| Ok, I didn't think it was, but it had the chrome base that jumped out at me initially. I feel much better about it being painted like that. Thanks for your reply Mark. If you want it I can go get it and have it shipped to you. 😉 | |||||

| I didn't know what this was when it caught my eye at the back of a heap of furniture in a garage. Mariner range Barometer, hygrometer and clock designed by Kenneth Grange in 1971. Very sweet thing, pitty, the clock makes lots of noise but doesn't work. | |||||
