| ... is not solid wood. I guess what I was trying to say, perhaps not very well, is that I would expect to correct the problem very slowly. And I would try to reverse the cause of the problem instead of applying more of the problem to even it out. But that diagnosis and prescription could be completely negated with further information. So... Until we get more information from the original poster.... | |||||

| Just a quick though on SDRs'... Just a quick though on SDRs' idea that it was an error in production. I've seen stuff like this happen again and agian too and its one of the dangers of batch production, a mistake like that can happen so easily when the person stacking the veneers gets them reversed for some reason, probably out of boredom, a whole run of pieces (50-100 whatever) can be wrecked. I once sprayed contact adhesive over about 30 metres of expensive fabric...on the wrong side. Glad to see the teak diagnosis confirmed. | |||||

| I spoke with someone today... I spoke with someone today who said these tables looked like they were from mccobb at Calvin. But I don't believe that to be the case as I've seen nothing from that line with the metal capped feet. Nor do these tables have the leather tops. Any other suggestions? I've been unable to locate any info about these in reference to the aforementioned Conant Ball diagnosis. Thanks again! | |||||

| Warning Science Content!! Banana's are in danger of going extinct. The genetic diversity of the trees has been so limited and inbred that the entire 'race' may not survive. Yes, E.Coli is mostlikely the most important bacterium ever. Besides helping us maintain our internal 'ecosystem', the little buggies have made cloning possible and thereby huge strides in genetic testing and the diagnosis of genetic diseases. Of course, this also enabled GMO foods which causes so much bruhaha. Other importants: Soy beans Bamboo Sextants Canned food Penicillin | |||||

| El Matador OCD... That's a fair diagnosis. I had a neighbor whose apartment was filled with incredible relics. Many of which were in storage boxes waist high in every room. Only a small narrow path was formed room to room, with some elbow space in the living room. That's obsessive! Having too many things a tragedy...it denies the owner room to appreciate them, as well as denying others the same opportunity. Deep thoughts dude....dee-eee-eep tho-ughhhh-tssss... As for the original post (s) Wow! I'm slacked jawed and breathless! Those are some really nic ... | |||||

| Safety First Geeze...great example of design overkill. did you buy this in the childrens section? If I may, I suggest that for emergency situations to get the Red Cross (just an example, other varieties) all in one hand crank radio/flashlight/language translator/auto-diagnositics/coctail mixer. Certainly doesn't possess the cool design qualities yours does. Or visit your dentist and get metal cavity fillings. | |||||

| ... two homes have just gone up across the street and while I welcome their modern intentions I suspect both will end up very diagnostic to the first decade of the 21st century. I'm not saying that's a terrible thing. My own house looks very dated. It's style is absolutely identifiable with the late 1930's idea of "modern" but now it's universally characterized as "art deco". The glass house and case study houses have a rare timelessness that's not reproducable with a simple formula. | |||||

| Hoping someone can help ID this arm chair, the cushion looks odd, like someone tried to update it by adding more cushion, cushion proportions are off with chair, also looks as if someone may have stained it to look like rosewood, but may be teak. Based on a very superficial diagnostic, thought it looked similar Jens Risom or Peter Hvid. any insight would be much appreciated, Thank you Attachment: 85C10599-1D69-4BFA-A3CC-27EEFB3AF745.JPG | |||||

| Hi! That's certainly an interesting observation. I find it puzzling that a furniture maker would use black paint over a nice veneer of teak or palisander, but it looks like these pieces were originally made that way. Also, the dots seem to be distributed only along one diagonal, while the table I asked for it has a very different dots distribution. Or maybe there was a fashion in the 70es to add black dots to coffee tables, and owners did it on their own? Cheers, Ernest. | |||||
| Weird Moller 71 or something else? | 1 Relevance | 9 years ago | wilderwind | General discussion | |
| We got these 2 chairs for very cheap. The owner doesn't seem to know what it is and simply sell it as a pair of dinning chairs. There is no visible marking on the underside, and it seems like something was done to the chairs. The diagonal bracing on the underside and the piece of board added to support the upholstery all seem a bit weird to me. Anyway, are these Moller 71s? Arne Hovmand Olsen maybe? | |||||
