| Nanna Ditzel desks, something does not look right. | 2 Relevance | 10 years ago | My Panton Home | General discussion | |
| I just noticed these two ditzel desks on Lauritz, and there is something about them that bugs me. The rosewood one has a figuring that i have not seen on rosewood before, its to wild in a way so is it realy palisander? Also the teak one somehow does not look right. A friend that saw them live thought that they were brand spanking new, there was nothing that pointed to that they were restored vintage ones. Have anyone seen fake ones before or know if they were recently repoduced by a new company? http://www.lauritz.com/sv/auktion/nanna-ditzel-fritstaaende-sk ... | |||||

| Might this sofa be a Finn Juhl or Nanna Ditzel? | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | neadsinn | Identification | |
| I just bought this mid-century modern settee. The dealer said it is a 1946 Finn Juhl but it also looks like a Nanna ditzel "Alle Sofa". Can anyone help identify this piece? There is a logo stamped on the wood underneath that is not very clear but I think it looks like a flag that reads "S M" or "W S" as well as a "#185". Photos attached. Thank for any info you might have on identifiing this sofa. Cheers! | |||||
| Nanna Ditzel Rosewood Desk | 2 Relevance | 12 years ago | cdsilva | General discussion | |
| As posted previously in the last-thing-you-acquired thread, I was fortunate enough to buy a Nanna ditzel 4-drawer rosewod desk off of craigslist last week. Yesterday, I did my usual cleaning / wood reconditioning routine on it, and got some decent improvement for the finish. However, the desktop still has a decent amount of uneven fading all over (including a couple of circular marks), some expected scratches, and a small veneer chip missing from the bottom right face of the third drawer. While I have come across all of the above issues on previous pieces, th ... | |||||
| Nanna Ditzel tabouret? | 2 Relevance | 15 years ago | firkel | General discussion | |
| I have spotted a couple of fiberglass taburets by Nanna ditzel OD 5301 One re d and one blue, they are old and have som marks and scrubs on them, but no cracks. Anyone familiar with theese ones, how to make them shiny again? Is it just like preparing the boat for summer? Rubbing down the paint, and polish with carpolish (colorback) in similar color? Or to take them to the painter for a full paintjob. I think they are so cool, looks a bit like a dart wader helmet, or something from Spaceballs. 🙂 Here is a picture of the same chair, but this one have a backre ... | |||||
| Teak Bowl - Nanna Ditzel for M. Monsen | 2 Relevance | 12 years ago | leif ericson - Zephyr Renner | General discussion | |
| I just drove 2 hours over the mountains through a freak mid-May 7 inch snowfall for a teak bowl (and early-ish Quistgaard ice bucket). But it seemed worth it for $50. And I really like this bowl. Anyway, I don't know much about teak bowls, but I believe this is a Nanna ditzel design. It is marked "M. Monsen, copyright, Denmark" and there is a rectangular space below where some other label has fallen off. Anybody know any reason I am wrong about this? And what was the relationship between Magne Monsen and Kay Bojesen? | |||||
| this has to be nanna ditzel!! | 2 Relevance | 17 years ago | jonnie | General discussion | |
| i found this chair the other day and am convinced it is nanna ditzel, there are no markings except an old round fabric danish furniture makers label, it has been recovered in the most hideous fabric, but if you look beyond that it is a wonderful chair and has all the nanna ditzel elements, can someone confirm this for me, or tell me who designed it if not her, thanks. | |||||

| I have a Nanna Ditzel model | 2 Relevance | 10 years ago | therye | General discussion | |
| I have a Nanna ditzel model 113 that was certainly made in Denmark and it does not say it. I also have a Rosewood chair by Randers (see the recent post about that chair) that does not say made in Denmark. If they were marked Denmark, I doubt I would own them since I paid less than $150 combined for both. | |||||
