| Direct contact through the... Direct contact through the Kagan website or one of their authorized retailers is probably your best (if not only) bet right now. These high-end pieces don't end up on eBay, craigslist, or the alley for parts. I'm also assuming that for a Kagan piece, you went to an experienced and reputable upholsterer. If they actually lost a piece during the process, they should be responsible for finding a replacement one and installing it correctly, even if you have already paid in full. | Discrepancies I was not aware of Walter Lamb before perusing this thread here, but since it's what I do I went and did a quick trawl for period references and it seems that the available online text about Walter Lamb's designs got the facts wrong... | Italian Classics direct I am sorry to hear about some of you not receiving anything from these jerks. I have to say I have had a horrible experience with them as well but guess that I am luckier than some. | Modern Classics direct are thieves! I too am waiting for a promised refund of £290 from MCD. It has been promised several times and as yet nothing has been transferred. It's impossible to speak to anyone directly because they use a 'call centre'. The fact that it's the same woman answering each time means that it clearly isn't but she says she can't put a call through but can only pass on a message. | I'm sure many people have bought a direct-plug chronopack Nelson clock and taken off the direct-plug and replaced it with a cord. Perhaps someone (LRF, possibily) might've done that and kept the direct plug. NOW....I'm quite sure that you can remove the direct-plug from the back plate of a chronograph clock, but you can go the other way (i.e. putting a direct-plug onto a back plate that was not designed for it. I have only 1 clock that had had the chronopack direct-plug removed and the backplate does have the two small holes. I bought it with the electric c ... | |||||

After ordering nearly £2000,00 worth of goods from the company in 2007, we have been pursuing the co. through Trading Standards, The European Consumer Centre and finally the Courts.
