| Hans Wegner Dining Table and Chairs | 2 Relevance | 7 years ago | edmccoll | Identification | |
| Hi, New to the forum. Just purchased this Hans Wenger designed dining Suite from auction via the internet. Pretty sure that the dining Table is model AT-318, but not too sure about the chairs. Getting worried about it now. Can anyone identify them? Thanks Ed Attachment: chair.jpg | |||||

| @edmcoll My first thought was that the chairs were Swedish ( 2nd was British) A quick image search produced one hit for the exact same chairs. Nils Jonsson for Troeds ;70's era. However, the seller has not shown any images of marks/labels. So take this attribution with a pinch of salt.I couldn't find any other pics of the chairs on the net. The seller is located in the UK , so they could possibly be British. Image of set that I found. Lexi. Attachment: troeds-scandinavian-dining-set-in-teak-nils-jonsson-1970s.jpg | |||||

| Hi all, First let me apologize for the small image. I had saved this from eons ago, and now I am searching for the maker. I remember that he makes high end (10k+) dining tables, and this particular table is veneer. I believe he's on the east coast, maybe even southern... Sorry that is not much to go on.... | ... a table like yours with a torn label. More searching and found another, albeit different table to yours, with an intact label. Which in turn led me to the abve link. ( you will have to scroll down a bit to find your table, with associated images of catalogues etc; Lexi. ps. Thankfully this is one of the threads that has survived, almost intact, the upgrade ( ?! ) earlier this year. | |||||

| @herringbone. I don't think you can PM on this forum. Or ,if you can ,I don't how to either. No worries; maybe someone else can help with ID. This chair was discussed on the old Forum and the image/link pops up on Google but when you click into it a" 404 page not found error" comes up! And the search function here is too tedious to go through and most of the images are gone anyway,so you don't know which chair the any of the answers refer to.... 😕 | |||||

| Additional photos attched showing table leg and underside construction. Hopefully along with the distinctive deep apron and moulded detail on the table edge/apron will provide more clues to someone who can help identify the designer. Thanks for your comments Leif. Would be interested to know if the additional detail provided triggers any further thoughts from you. | |||||
