| Danish Mid Century Dining Table id | 2 Relevance | 10 years ago | northyvr | Identification | |
| Hi. Hoping someone can shed some light on who the manufacturer of this dining table might be? It was purchased new in the early 1970's along with 8 Niels Koefoed Eva chairs. I can't find a stamp like I did on the chairs. It's about 86" long when the 20" leaf is in place. 40" wide. Thanks for any and all help. | |||||

| Hey everyone, I've been searching to id a country of origin or manufacturer for a pair of dining chairs with no success. The closest my search has brought me is to H.W. Klein. To my eye the wood is afromasia or walnut and my guess is it could be Scandinavian however the frame construction looks somewhat American. Any help would be appreciated! | |||||

| Hi there - I am in process of acquiring a new dining set (Table, Chairs and Sideboard/Hutch) and regardless of who the marker/designer is, I am beyond thrilled to have these pieces coming to my home - for my own purposes, I am hoping to identify the designers of the pieces so I can read more about them - as it is important for me to know their history. The pieces are being acquired through a family friend and were purchased in England during the 60's and shipped to the U.S. The table is 49" round and opens to 128x49" with the use of 4 leaves. | Help identify Mid century dining table and chairs | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | rst113 | Identification | |
| My wife and I bought a mid century dining table and chairs off of craigslist a few years ago and have never been able to identify the maker. The chairs are stamped 385 and have a piece of cardboard stapled on the bottom of each chair with an individual number, the number 385 and cutting number 248 assembly b. I've search exhaustively on the web and can't find one identical. It looks a little like Lane but not identical to anything I could find. There is a place where a sticker appears to have used to be on the bottom but it is gone. The bottom of the table ... | |||||
| Dining table and chairs with cutout backs: only numbered markings | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | klbvxf | Identification | |
| I found this dining table and 4 chairs at a junk shop for $100. It is a drop-leaf with a center leaf, as well. The supports for the leaves are unlike what I've seen on other drop-leaf tables so I included pictures to show how they work. The cutouts on the back of the chairs make me think they're verging on MCM but I'm not sure. Any ideas? I can't seem to find anything like it. The varnish had heat damage and discoloration from the leaves always being down, so I had a light resurfacing done. Not sure what kind of wood it is. The chairs had 2 layers of ugl ... | |||||

| Polyurethane fabric for Erik Buch dining chairs | 2 Relevance | 11 years ago | dcdad | General discussion | |
| I have young kids and a set of dining chairs that need to be reupholstered. I figured I should go with something durable for the next few years. I found some polyurethane/rayon fabric from Knoll (Knoll Whip) that looks good against the wood frames of these chairs. The fabric does not feel as pliable as the boucle wool blends that are typically used and I am concerned whether it will drape well over the curved edges. The current upholstery on these chairs is a black leatherette (vinyl, I am assuming). | |||||
