Colonna Romano Giuseppe
Giuseppe Colonna Romano was born on 3 May 1949 in Alcamo and graduated in Mechanical Engineering in Palermo.
After moving to Milan immediately after graduation, he held for some years the chair of industrial programming at the Bocconi School of Business Management. He was a manager from 1977 to 1983 for some textile and toy companies. In 1983 he founded and was the creative director of the company Green House, manufacturer of plastic housewares, which saw one of the prototypes made exhibited at the Moma in New York. In 1991 he founded Sigre, the first company of the current group, a company that produces plastic garden pots imitating terracotta, with the advantage of light and indestructible material. In 2002 it was the turn of Slide. Giuseppe Colonna Romano decides to exploit the long know-how gained in the sector to propose with Slide an absolutely innovative product format, luminous polyethylene furniture, light and with a scenic impact that will open the way for the establishment of the service company in 2007 of the group: Slide Events, for the integrated management of both private and corporate events, from location, to set-up, to transportation and assembly.
